Bike and Pedestrian Transportation

The CMCOG Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee is a group of concerned citizens and organizations that support healthier and more livable communities through the creation of adequate walking and bike-riding facilities.  We attempt to do this through a variety of avenues that include: working with local governments to provide efficient bike and pedestrian services; communicating alerts and updates on the status of projects, roads, and multi-use trails; educating the public on funding and policy processes; and responding to regional air quality concerns by advocating for the alternative use of safe non-motorized transportation.
